Roommate wanted for owner-managed, three-level townhouse in well-maintained Lauren Parc community near Memorial Drive/Columbia Drive and Avondale Estates/Decatur 30032.
This townhouse is tastefully furnished and has everything you could need for... cooking, doing laundry, etc.. Young owner (co-owned with her brother) on leave of absence from job as a technician at local veterinary office for health reasons.
Rent is for 120 square feet of personal space, including large bedroom with queen bed, desk and chair, plus other furniture--double dresser and side table, and a full, private, in-suite bath. Additional shared space includes full kitchen, w/d and living room. There is a large closet in the bedroom and additional storage space on the ground level. All windows do open, and have permanent, interior shutters. Whole unit gets plenty of natural light. This bedroom is on the front of the unit.
Entry is on the ground level. Shared space is on the second level, and bedrooms (room for rent and room occupied by a current roommate--an Emory law school grad--are on the top level. On the ground level, there is an additional bedroom and in-suite bath currently occupied by a long-standing roommate/graduate of SCAD. There is a deck on the second level outside the living room, and a shared half bath on the second level and near the kitchen.
Parking is off street, within the community area. A Southbound MARTA bus stop is just in front of the townhouse complex, and a Northbound stop is just across Columbia Drive. WalMart and Aldi are nearby as well as gas stations and other shopping options. Inclusive monthly rent includes water and garbage/recycle pick up, all electric utilities (HVAC is all electric) and wifi.
