The space
This 1940's house is in the very Heart of the Historic and happening Old Fourth Ward Neighborhood. This is an older property setup with all the basic needs. There's a living room with cozy seating & TV (FireStick), large dining room and spacious kitchen. There are 3 separate bedrooms with a bathroom between each. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed & some bedrooms have TV's. The bathrooms have a walk in tub/shower and are not connected to the bedrooms to make it easy for all guests to access. The back bedrooms has a separate bedroom HVAC in the wall. The remainder of the house has a central heating & cooling. The appliances are gas range, small fridge, etc. There's a great swing in the front and back yard has table, lounging and grill to enjoy. This is an older property with older furniture and is setup temporary while we get permits to build a new building. It is priced accordingly. Please look at pictures.
The Yard: There is a pretty large in-town yard that is fenced in with Lawn. There is also a gate that is very old that you can close if you have pets. Please be-careful with this gate. It is old. The property backs onto the Freedom Park Trails, great for running, walking, biking, etc.
Parking: There is a 3 carport in the back of the property. Please park at your own risk as it is old and there are old trees above with nuts. There is plenty of free street parking. Please do not block driveways and follow signs.
While it is very charming, it is old. The windows may not work, some doors may not lock. This cute little bungalow is setup as temporary available while owners is getting permits for new construction project. It is priced accordingly.
Surrounding areas: This residence is on a quiet residential street of Highland Ave with some neighborhood retail across and down the street. The Michelin recognized BOMB Biscuit is a few doors down. This means there's a bit more cars and people on weekends. There's also Donnies Donuts for coffee across the street and a protein shake place. There's even a dry cleaning place. Walking down the street is the Eastside Beltline Trail that connects to Ponce City Market, Krog Market & even to Piedmont Park and beyond. You are welcome to walk, run, scooter or bike.
